Muswellbrook Doctors is your locally trusted medical practice located inside Muswellbrook Fair on Rutherford Road. Our qualified team of GPs offers high-quality healthcare tailored to families, working professionals, and seniors in the Upper Hunter community.
We operate as a bulk billing clinic, providing bulk billing for all eligible Medicare card holders. This includes children under 16, pensioners, concession card holders, and follow-up consultations. Appointments can be conveniently booked online or by phone.
Our care extends beyond general consultations — we provide minor procedures, chronic disease management, travel medicine, women’s & men’s health, and onsite pathology services. In addition, our virtual care via the Zali Health App ensures access when you can’t visit in person.

The Team Of Great Doctors Behind Muswellbrook Doctors
Dr Eslam Elbahrawy completed his medical degree in Egypt and is an *Australian-trained GP*, having completed the Fellowship exams with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Tarek Abdellateef is an experienced General Practitioner with over 16 years of medical practice in both hospital and community settings.
Dr Mohammed Abdulfattah is an Australian – Trained General Practitioner and a member of the RACGP.
Dr Ahmed Elmhrouky has 14 years of experience in General Medicine and 5 years of GP practice.

Introducing Bulk Billing in our Practice
Muswellbrook Docotors is a bulk billing practice.
Muswellbrook Doctors is pleased to announce that we will be offering 100% Bulk Billing for all eligible patients starting from 1st November.
Most consultations are time-based and will incur private fees for patients who are not eligible under the bulk-billing criteria. Fees are payable at consultation by cash, credit card or EFTPOS.
BULK BILLING IS AVAILABLE to eligible patient groups for most of the consultation types:
- A completed New Patient Form
- A valid Medicare Card
- Valid OSHC/OVC membership details (if applicable)
- Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card (if applicable)

Appointment Information
Help us eliminate waiting times by arriving at least five minutes before your appointment time. You can save time by completing an online patient registration form here.
Please bring the following to your first appointment:
- a current, valid Medicare card (if you have one)
- WorkCover patients
You will need to advise your employer of the appointment and bring your employer’s contact details to arrange for payment. - Interpreter
If you require a translator or other assistance with communication, please notify reception when you make an appointment. A phone interpreter may be available but will need to be arranged prior to your appointment.

Our stringent practice policy means we always maintain the security of personal health data and ensure that it is only available to authorised staff. For the continuing management of our patient’s health, we utilise a systematic reminder system to provide health promotion, preventative care and early detection of disease.
